“Astronomy is so cool, but it’s all over my head,” is a concept I hear a lot. This may be the case for you, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. In just 7 weeks, I can bring you up to speed with my Astronomy crash course.
The first half of the course takes a historical approach, and we discover the developments in Astronomy through time. The second half of the course takes a systematic approach, starting from what is closest to us here on Earth, and moving toward what is furthest away from us in space.
By enrolling in this course, you will gain access to my 16 Astronomy video lectures, and I will invite you to engage in weekly discussions about these topics in Astronomy during our 7-week crash course. I will also provide recommended readings, essay topics, and quantitative exercises.
I developed this course in 2020 for high schoolers through Kepler Education at an enrollment price of $340 per student. Now I am opening it up to anyone who wants to learn at an enrollment price of only $100. This may be the lowest I will ever offer this course for.
